Wholewheat Eggless Almond Cookies


Cookies are a popular teatime snack around the world. It is quick to make and requires very simple ingredients. It can be made in large batches and stored to last weeks. It has many variations and flavors and can be both sweet and savoury. 

Today I have made eggless version of wholewheat almond cookies. This recipe is inspired from "Bake with Shivesh" Healthy Chocochip Cookies recipe (https://bakewithshivesh.com/healthy-chocolate-chip-cookies/

Tips before cooking:
  • Always preheat the oven for atleast 15-20 mins before baking
  • Use brown sugar/cornflour/egg to make cookies extra chewy
  • Always use softened butter
  • Refrigerate the dough to let it set before rolling out the cookies
  • Substitute refined sugar with brown sugar for healthier version
  • Baking soda makes cookies soft and fluffy
  • Cookies will be done when they are soft in the centre and golden brown on the edges
