Vegetable Poha for Breakfast/Snack




Poha is a common Indian breakfast or snack dish. It is made across various states in India and there are many versions. it can be both sweet or savoury or a mix of both. The key ingredient here is flattened rice along with various aromatic spices, vegetables and nuts.

For today's recipe I have made a savoury version with onions, potatoes and carrots. You can also add green beans and peas to it.

Tips before cooking
  • After draining the soaked poha let it dry completely for about15-20 mins
  • Do not add any water after the poha has been mixed into the veggies
  • Stir gently to prevent the poha from breaking and forming lumps
